“It took more than famous names to win American Independence. Vineyards to Victory illuminates the human cost behind France’s decisive role at Yorktown through the life of an ordinary French artilleryman. Grounded in rigorous historical research, this work traces one soldier’s journey from a vineyard village in France to the Virginia battlefield that changed the world. Both an engaging read and a powerful educational tool, it belongs in as many households as possible.”
